Sprint Connection Manager for Phone as Modem for Windows®
Phone as Modem Plan customers, download this software to create a connection between your computer and your phone using a USB cable. If Sprint SmartView is available for your device, we recommend installing it rather than this software or the built-in Bluetooth® connection.
This software features:
  • Easy Internet Access: Use Internet browsers and email clients such as Internet Explorer® and Microsoft Outlook® to view Web pages, check email and download documents.
  • Check Connection Status: View signal strength and kilobytes sent, received and total transferred per session.
  • Automatic Update: Check for the latest software updates to increase performance and fix bugs.
Special Instructions:
  • Your computer must have a Bluetooth adapter in order to create a Bluetooth connection. Using a Bluetooth connection may limit data transfer speeds to the maximum data rate of your Bluetooth connection.
  • Windows Vista users, when installing, right click on the file and select the option "Run as Administrator."

Microsoft ActiveSync®
ActiveSync acts as the gateway between your Microsoft Windows-powered PC and Windows Mobile® powered device, allowing you to synchronize Microsoft Outlook® information, Microsoft Office documents, pictures, music, videos and applications to and from your device.

Microsoft ActiveSync works only with Windows XP SP2 or earlier. If you have Windows Vista, your synchronization settings will be managed through the Windows Mobile Device Center. Information on Windows Mobile Device Center is available through the Windows Mobile Device Center page on Microsoft.com.
