In addition, some content providers offer premium alerts for an additional fee. Alert services may also be part of a broader premium package of services or may require membership to their services.
Alerts can be sent to your cell phone’s email address. For example: If your number is 703-555-1234, then your cell phone’s e-mail address is 703-555-1234@messaging.nextel.com.

Delivery Fee: Although some of the alert services are offered as free services, nominal messaging fees may apply. For those that do not already subscribe to a Text Messaging plan, a delivery fee will be charged for each message. Alert Registration: All alert services are provided by third-party content providers which require some level of registration. While Nextel does monitor third-party applications, Nextel does not control third-party policies regarding registration and privacy.
Canceling Alert Services: Once you are signed up for the an alert service, you can unsubscribe anytime directly through our content providers. All content providers will require you to manage your alert services directly on their website. You can gain direct access to these web sites from this page. Please note that if you cancel voice service with Nextel, you will also need to cancel alert services separately as well through the specific content provider.
