Keep Track of What You're Doing.
As part of the program, Nextel sets up a
Spending Limit on your account. The program gives you:
Proactive, notification
messages as you approach your spending limit
International long distance dialing with no additional deposit. Contact
Customer Care online to activate the international dialing capability on your phone
The Spending Limit Program is not voluntary; instead it is based on one's credit score. The credit score is provided by an outside Credit Service when you authorize a credit history check. You may be asked to pay a one-time,
refundable deposit. This deposit amount is also based on your credit score.
If your average balance per phone exceeds your Spending Limit, the Account Administrator’s outgoing phone calls will be routed to Nextel Customer Finance for payment. If your average balance per phone continues to exceed your Spending Limit, all phones on the account will be temporarily deactivated until a payment is made that brings the account balance below the spending limit.
When your phone(s) is reactivated, you will be charged a reconnection fee of $20 per account.1 The threshold amount/reconnection fee is subject to change without notification.
1Pricing is subject to change. Also, in some markets, the reactivation fee may apply to each phone on an account.
